How to return from a rails method when condition is met in a helper
I want to return from a rails method when a specific condition is met.
For example, if my helper has the following content
def show_or_list(arg)
list_or_show = true
if arg == 'list'
list_or_show = false
return list_or_show
else
# Do something
end
end
And the method above is called in a template by
= show_or_list 'list'
How would I ensure that the method returns if the argument is 'list', and doesn't return if the argument is anything else?
I'm not sure what this would be called in the ruby world ac619d1d87
